Tesseract IP — Domain Names
Domain Names

Clear, register, defend. No fluff.

If a domain is core to your brand, treat it like an asset: clear it, register it, police it, and lock it down.

What we do (and why it matters)

R

Registration & strategy

We map your core brand, product lines, and geographies to a practical TLD set (.com, .in, .co.in, .io, .ai, selective ccTLDs). No vanity hoarding. Just what you’ll use and need to defend.

C

Clearance before launch

We check domain availability alongside trademark conflicts. If a name is risky or already toxic on search, we’ll say so and propose alternatives.

A

Acquisition & sales

We approach owners, negotiate quietly, and close. If price is delusional, we’ll tell you and push for equally strong, cheaper options.

P

Portfolio management

Renewals, DNS hygiene, WHOIS privacy, registrar choice, account structure, transfer locks, and naming policy for new teams/products.

E

Enforcement & disputes

Cybersquatting, typo-squats, phishing: we escalate proportionally—notice, takedown, UDRP/INDRP, litigation if needed. We don’t waste time on dead ends.

S

Security baseline

DNSSEC, registry locks for premium names, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, HSTS—prevent avoidable disasters that wreck email deliverability and trust.

Domain idea generator

We don’t “check availability” here; we generate strong, realistic candidates and give you 1-click search links at registrars. Final checks and acquisitions go through us.

TLDs:
Tip: we prefer short names without hyphens. If the .com is gone, go .in (for India) or pick a clean modifier (get, try, use, go). Don’t pay ridiculous resale prices unless the name is truly mission-critical.

TLD strategy that won’t bleed cash

Core

.com if available at sane cost. If not, get the **.in** (for India) and one clean global secondary (.io or .ai if tech). Avoid random novelty TLDs unless marketing needs it.

Defensive set

Register obvious typos + one or two sensitive TLDs that attackers love. Redirect all to the primary. Don’t hoard 50 domains you’ll never use.

Process

One registrar, 2FA, WHOIS privacy, auto-renew, DNS templates. For premium names, add registry lock. Keep billing on a shared corporate account, not an intern’s card.

When someone squats on your name

1
Assessment. Is it cybersquatting or a legitimate use? We’ll be blunt—if you don’t have rights, we won’t waste your money.
2
Escalation plan. Notice → takedown → UDRP/INDRP. If it’s criminal (phishing), we move faster with hosts/registrars.
3
Evidence. Screenshots, WHOIS, historical use, traffic harm. We build the record before firing.
4
File & follow-through. Tight pleadings, zero theatrics. Aim: transfer or cancel. If fight continues, we litigate or re-route branding—case by case.

FAQs

Do you actually check availability here?
No. The generator gives candidates and direct search links. We run final checks, negotiate buys, and secure transfers on the back end.
We already launched on a sub-optimal domain. Worth buying the .com?
Only if it’s central to revenue or investor perception. If the ask is absurd, we’ll say “walk away” and harden your current brand.
How fast is a UDRP/INDRP?
Roughly weeks to a few months. Depends on facts and panel schedules. If the case is weak, we won’t file just to “try”.
Can you monitor new abusive domains?
Yes. We set up watches for typos, homoglyphs, and brand+keyword combos, then act proportionally (notice, takedown, dispute).
